Price is everything right now. You can have your property displayed on the biggest and brightest billboard in town, but if the price is not right that billboard will not do any good. While sales are up for most areas in Charleston this year, the number of distressed properties in our area is rising. Inventory levels remain at extremely high levels, and one way or another these levels must be reduced. There is no sense of urgency for most buyers. If you can present a property as a good value to buyers in this market, you will be well ahead of the competition.
