      National Open House is a show that travels the country examining and comparing housing prices in U.S. cities.  Each episode features three cities with 4 homes from each city that fall into one of four designated price points.  If you’ve ever wondered how much “bang for you buck” you can get around the country, National Open House satisfies your curiosity.

      My role was to provide professional insight into Charleston’s real estate market, to relate Charleston’s market to those in other cities, and to guide walking tours of some of the properties. 
 

 

      My House is Worth What goes inside homes that have been renovated or updated in some way by the current owners, and provides viewers real life examples of how to maximize their homeownership. 

      Host Kendra Todd, winner of Donald Trump’s The Apprentice, works with a local real estate expert to assess each property.  The local agent provides positive and negative feedback regarding the homes features and any specific changes the owners have made.  Every episode culminates in the grand finale, known as “the reveal,” where the local agent divulges what the home would be worth in today’s market.  “The reveal” can get quite emotional depending on whether that price is greater or less than the owner’s desired value.

      All Charleston episodes are expected to air in late 2008 or early 2009.
